Join Adapter to Eyepiece
Optionally use tripod. Turn the Eyepiece Clamp Bolt counterclockwise to open the Eyepiece Clamp. Slide the Eyepiece Opening over the monocular's Eyepiece. Turn the Eyepiece Clamp Bolt to the right to secure the Clamp onto the Eyepiece.
Place Phone in Cradle
Pull the spring loaded phone cradle in the direction of the arrows to open the cradle grip. Insert the smartphone. Release grip so it closes to hold the smartphone tightly. Turn smartphone camera on to view what it sees on the phone screen.
Line up Lenses
Loosen the Position Lock to adjust the phone cradle. Slide the Phone Cradle up or down to align the lenses vertically. Rotate the phone cradle clockwise or counter-clockwise to align lenses from side to side. Tighten the Position Lock to keep in position.
Focus & Zoom
Turn the focus wheel until the image becomes clear. Clockwise is for closer objects & Counter-clockwise for far. Zoom in on the smartphone to fill the image on the phone's screen. (Preview the Full User Guide on Listing Below Under "Product Guides & Documents"

The monocular as a very good quality zoom which results in a high-quality image on your phone. When I initially used it was very impressed with the bolt-on lock handle to hold the phone on the monocular. It provides a more secured connection resulting in less blurry on the image and the phone not slipping from desired location.
But unfortunately, the bolt-on locking system broke with just a few uses. It is still usable, but one need to be careful with management. Some pieces can get loose if not careful. This only affects if you are storing the items again. If you plan to keep this in a fixed location, you have nothing to worry about.
Personally giving 3.5 out of 5 stars for durability. If you add a small rubber band on the holder, you can easily keep using it without issues.
