I work at a public viewing astronomy observatory and we look through a lot of scopes! A few of us have been checking out spotting scopes on the side. Our conclusion: this one is an excellent choice, especially considering the price. In fact, three staff members have actually bought one for themselves; and we have options. Enough said. UPDATE #1: The rings of Saturn clearly visible at 50x setting. UPDATE #2: Good for terrestrial too. See attached picture taken with cell phone thru scope.

    I just received the scope and found it to be high quality especially for the price, the only negative was the small tripod is a little shaky but well worth the price. The unit I bought come with a free offer inside, I did not know that was included, a nice surprise. When I applied I was informed that the promotion no long was available, I did not see an expiration date so I emailed for an answer as to why. I received a nice reply that they as the rest of the world was having shipping problems and they decided it was better to stop the promotion. In place they offered a gift card for a future purchase. I replied that I did not require a replacement and was satisfied with the explanation but they insisted they wanted to do the right thing. I find it refreshing in today's world a company with regard to their reputation and business integrity, Thanks Marbs.
